i have always tried to keep my family happy. I always listened to them, did what they asked me to. Did everything as they wanted. Avoided doing anything that upset or disappointed them. I wore clothes that they wanted me to wear. I stopped being with friends that they disliked. I tried to never hurt them, not even with my words. Etc etc
And what did I get in return? Abuse, neglect,
This was a very bad deal, I tried to give my best and in return I got nothing good. It is so unfair.

I want you to know that you are a wonderfully kind soul. My "parents" kicked me out the day after I turned 18 and looking back the best thing ever.

This is just food for thought, but if you can move out on your own and get away from such a toxic environment, it might help you AND them. Help you to NOT have to put up with bull crap and them, not having you around and missing you. NOW, if they do not miss you, then you know what the best course for you is.

Be you first and foremost and if folks want to be nice it is a two-way street, if not, then it is just rocks in a backpack that a person is carrying around. Lots of weight to no avail and drop the backpack off.

YOU deserve so much more and better than what you have been treated like and YES, it is damn tough, but maybe, just maybe having your folks and such in your rear-view mirror might not be a bad idea.

HUGE hugs, so much love and caring thoughts to/for you, as we are family here and I 100% want the very best for you now AND in the future.

Good friends always,

Walter

Actually I stay seperately, I visit them once in a while but sometimes I just have these flashbacks when I am with them.
