I had a talent for functioning while being blacked out or the thrill of smoking too much weed and trying to figure out wtf is even going on. Haven't done that in years.

I only got as far as a miserable buzz you described.

For me is the opposite, the more I drink the worse I feel. I only get some pleasure from light inebriation, if at all.
