Today I prayed in silence.
The full-ish moon encased my body in her warm light
I slammed my forearms down against the dirt, staring at the altar
I looked back at me.
And when I got home, this ant on my body held tight. Jaws gripping the dirty fibers.
"Why won't you let go?" I asked the massive ant, unsure if it could even walk anymore
I can feel it clench harder, harder, harder. Little ant friend, why are you still here? What are you hoping to gain?
I tried to take him outside, but he (they?) clenched even harder.
Okay, little one. You can come with me.
