I ordered myself a different brand of diet pills to try and the Royal Mail( UK postal service) was the service which was in charge of delivering my package to me. I overslept on Saturday and woke up afternoon time. I checked my notifications and I was informed the parcel was delivered to my home. The royal mail take pictures to prove they delivered to customers homes. There was a picture of my mother receiving the package. Her face was not shown but I could tell from the clothes she was wearing. I decided not to say anything hoping the issue goes away.
The next day my grandmother shows me the diet pills bottle and comfronts me. She told me my mother opened the package. My mother's at times opens other people's parcels and letters that come to our house because she "wants to see". She opens her boyfriend's amazon packages all the time and decided to open my package. My grandmother said my mother was so horrified then my grandmother lies to her saying she told me order her the slimming pills. My grandmother is fat and trying to lose weight so my mum believed her. My little sister said to my mother I am not capable of using diet pills because I am seen as the sensible responsible sister.
My grandmother asks have I used diet pills before and I lied confidently saying it is my first time and I wanted to try something new. My grandmother then tips out a plastic bag with all my packets of 100 dulcolax laxatives I brought, my bottles of appetite suppressants including the new one i rescently brought and my hemp teas. She went through all my drawers. She told me she was mad at me for lying and I told her I am mad at her invading my privacy like this. She was confiscated everything and has threatened to tell my mother if I get caught buying another set. It was so fucking terrible my grandmother was even bringing religion to it, making me feel guilty about how my mother almost collapsed due to the shock and how my sister was horrified seeing the package.
