the minimum temp for an adult to have hypothermia to a degree where dying is more likely than not is -25 degrees Celsius. if you're relatively skinny or muscular, it is easier for you to get hypothermia, if you have more fat on your body then it will take longer for you to have hypothermia as the fat is just stored energy - like seal blubber lol. i agree with what @eclipsee99 said. id recommend going somewhere isolated, like a forest or mountain or something. if you try to get hypothermia by drinking liquor and laying down in the streets its much more likely youll be revived. also the easiest way to get hypothermia is cold water. if you can find a fairly deep body of water then just wear a single layer of not-warm clothing and go for a dip. in at least -20degrees Celsius weather, otherwise the water wont be cold enough. hypothermia sets in much faster in water and it is harder to be revived. hypothermia without water it can take hours, sometimes days, to die, but hypothermia with water takes like at most two hours. but if youre not keen on drowning as well, just find a very isolated place, wear minimal clothes, dont eat a lot that day. maybe dig yourself into a hole or some thing that would be difficult to get out of when your body is shutting down?
hope ur ok ~~
please try to say Inuit instead of esk*mo, its a slur <3
im indigenous, i once heard a story of when someone was older than 15 years old there were ceremonies to see if they could be allowed to die from unnatural causes. usually not, but if they were granted permission from ancestors then the community Elders would just give them poison. but it was rare.
