He spoke at Trump's presidential rally when he last ran, and he said some racial slurs years ago. Other people act like they've never acted out, or have never supported the wrong ideas because they're misguided — so they talk ill of the dead and I guess it makes people feel better about themselves.

Well from what I read, the racial slurs, he actually apologized without trying to rationalize why he did it, so at least he understands it was a bad thing to do. As for the Trump rally, didn't know about that, but it seems to be more business than anything, so maybe it doesn't reflect on his ideals. (Though aligning with Trump, of all people, is a big indicator of how mch shit you're willing to go through for profit.)

So yeah, kinda shitty, but I guess he's dead now, so all this is kinda moot. RIP, let he be an example of not doing these shitty things.

I don't see a reason to forgive people who actively support the people and policies who directly come after my livelihood based on "differant political views".
