Dince I was a little boy I've always felt like a girl. I think it's a pretty unfair thing to be born with a body, and not being able to conform psychologically to it. I have limited myself to pretending until this day. To be the "Man" my parents have always wanted me to be, but I can't stand to keep pretending. My best friend is supporting me a lot, thanks to him is that I have found the courage to be able to face this radical change (a change on the outside, in my mind I have always been a girl). But before to start looking for information and start getting excited, I would like if it is possible if someone who has gone through that change could share their experience with me. I've seen some videos, but I don't know anyone who has been through it and I would like some personal advice.

Thanks a lot... have a great day.

It must be hard not to identify with the biological gender. It increases the risk for suicide a lot.

Wish you the best

I have the biggest respect for transgender , they are strong despite the work constantly trying to bully them and bring them down. They are humans so as we, the blood that runs inside of me is the same blood that runs inside everyone else. I met a few transgender in Thailand. They are so beautiful inside out. Follow what your heart and mind says. You are one brave soul. A big hug to you. Hope you manage to be the real you.

I wanted to add one remark. I think I am also concerning choosing your own gender pro-choice. There are people who pretend after the transition some might regret their decision. But in my opinion as bad as this can be at least they had a choice. The worse situation would have been to impose the will of the society upon those people.
It is similar to my way of thinking when it comes to suicide and abortion.

it is not a decision that can be taken lightly... it takes a lot of meditation because it is a radical change in many things. It also entails psychological supervicion.

but I think it's worth it... before you die you can be yourself.
