I currently watch Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig. And in one episode someone of Section 9 fights against his doppelganger. And the member of this special force replies I always wanted to know how it feels to kill yourself. Would this actually feel the same? In the series he didn't die after it though.

Killing yourself in a third person perspective is one thing.
But killing a doppelganger of yours might be different?

Sorry, I feel very bad this evening. I don't have a good answer. My day was just really really rough.

It would be strange. The me of almost any age would realise I was there to help them escape but then- it would likely have to be some brutal method (in the UK.)

Considering I couldn't even euthanize a pond fish when it was showing signs of dropsy- I was so afraid of messing it up and causing it more distress, I couldn't even catch it. I'd even researched how to do it humanely with cloves and then alchohol. I couldn't face smacking it over the head with something. But, I just sat there crying. So- I don't think I'd be a good murderer.

Maybe as a suicide partner though. That would be interesting. I could at least be sure their future wasn't worth the effort.
