I have SN sources which I bought 3-4 years ago but I'm not sure if they have been kept in ideal conditions. I live in a southern state in the USA where temperatures can reach 110 F or 40 C and humidity can be up to 70% percent. The hottest months start in May and end in September but it can still be humid in the fall. Sometimes I have to keep the air conditioning at 80-82 degrees sometimes to prevent overworking it and I can't always keep my AC in the low 70s to remove humidity.

Not very well, considering it's highly hygroscopic. To be honest, from what I know even if it's kept sealed shut it can't last longer than 3 years (when it comes to being fatal).

It can convert into sodium nitrate if it gets moisture. I'm in a subtropical humid place and not at all sure about my 3 year old SN.

The ppeh say that SN can conserve as much as you want. ( In a vaccum container i guess)
