I know my friends want me to leave some sort of message behind but personally I just dont have anything important to say? My friends are the world to me and I want them to have this as easy as possible so I was curious about what am I even supposed to write on a note? What do they expect? What is your experience with this? The thing that worries me most about leaving one behind is that if I fail and they find it then I cant really try to lie abour it (tho if im hanging myself then ig its a kinda dumb concern lol) and that I would want to make sure that it reaches the correct people but I cant just send it in case they call the police or smthng. Also, do you guys write personal letters separetely for different persons or just one in general?? Cause like I want everyone to feel important and if im writing something bc they EXPLICITLY asked me to do so it cant be so impersonal but also how am I supposed to even write one for everyone? Wouldnt some people feel excluded? And it takes so much time...i cant even write one without panicking about wether im making it worse for my loved ones. Srry for the long text its my first post here i actually opened the account just for this lol.
Tldr: panicking about writing a suicide note, any advice??

Some of your friends will feel guilty that they didn't saw it , and they will blame themselves for not seeing it or not doing something. So you have to tell in your letter that they couldn't do anything, its not their fault, you just wanted to go , that's it.

I guess that after all it's a personal decision deciding what to write in a note and how many you should write, but I think that the whole point of writing notes would be to act as a form of closure and mean that those left behind aren't left with as many unanswered questions, so I guess that one could explain that suicide is what they wanted as already said, and maybe explain why suicide was the best thing for them to try and give others some understanding.

I wrote 4 notes to different members of my family. I wrote a template note that explained things in general and then made alterations based on the person I was sending to. It was very emmotionaly difficult to write them though. Probably the hardest thing about this whole process

You could write down :
-why you did it
-that you love them
-Instructions on what to do with your belongings/body
-that you did it by your own choice/no one forced you to commit suicide

I think the best way to do it is just say what is on your mind at the moment. Say why you are chosing to ctb and what you expect from the reader to remember you as. Be yourself, at the end it's all your choice might aswell embrace it fully.
