F/18/120 lbs?? i haven't checked in a while
i need to stop eating so much. i eat when i am bored or sad, it just makes me feel less empty. sometimes it's the only thing that makes me happy. i can go one or two days w/o eating junk, but that's it. i wouldn't call myself fat, but i am slowly gaining weight in my stomach and face. my body is one of the only things i like about myself, so if i gain weight i know i would just hate myself even more. anything would help, whether it's something to keep me less bored or tips on how to eat less. thank you

"Over eating" is often what our bodies do to compensate when we've been restricting food at other times - letting ourselves go hungry at otther times or going on diets or restricting what "type" of foods we eat - if we're not getting enough calories and nutrients all the time, we'll feel urges to try to make up for it at other times. And that's healthy! That's how our bodies take care of themselves and stay alive!
It's not natural for people to hate themselves because of fatness. It's caused by abusive social judgements and it's important, I think, not to repeat those judgements when fat people already hear them so often.

Maybe try replacing unhealthy snacks with healthy alternatives? Eat little and often? I'm really not sure what to suggest as I comfort eat to the max and as of yet, apart from sewing my mouth shut, I've yet to find a way to stop.

I try really really hard to just eat when I actually feel hungry, and I give myself somewhat small portions. In the meantime it helps a bit to stay busy. Just a bit.

Binge eating is my weakness.

Unless you're under 5'0, I don't think you would be at an overweight BMI at 120lbs. If your worried about binge eating though, eating regularly might help stop annoying cravings. It obviously depends how often/much you eat, but you shouldn't be worried about eating junk food every so often.

Its a lot what u eat. Don't eat too much sugar that's the only thing that changed in the American diet in the last 50yrs and the real cause of obesity. They increased how much sugar people eat. Don't eat too much processed food. Eat small meals, or only eat once a day if possible. Don't watch tv while u eat or use food as entertainment. Most people have no idea how we are actually suppose to eat. I've heard vegan is best but I struggle to give up meat. You have to eat larger quantities of veggies and find alternatives because a lot of other food doesn't have as much staying power as meat in your stomach so u feel hungrier. You can avoid having the junk food in your home just by not buying it or buying only small amounts. Many people do not need as much food as they think they do. You have to get used to eating less and u can do it but it just takes time to get used to it. Your body can get used to a lot less food over time. Give up white bread or processed breads like pasta, white rice, those are not actually good for u. But really if u can eat small amounts throughout the day instead of large meals too will make u be able to burn it off easier. Don't eat large meals too close to bedtime. Don't try to change it all over night that never works. Identify what triggers u to want to eat besides hunger and try to find something else to do.

I have been sick of food for a very long time, but this is like a "psychological" nausea. Which, of course, turns into "real". Same for nausea caused by stress. Not so long ago I weighed 50kg, but now it's 44. I looks like I'm already dead. :D

Eat more before you start fainting and stuff. Not eating only makes things worse for u

Disagree. People overeat on junk food diets because they have no nutrients but a lot of calories. Can't get healthy with that

walks, reading, I spend way too much time on my phone though. But truthfully I don't have many hobbies but it might be easier for me not to eat because I've never found food to be a big priority. It is a priority but I just never think much about it. I wish I could plan my meals better in advance but that's not always possible depending on your situation. Some people do enjoy food more than other people and think about it more often. My favorite hobby is twitter and conspiracy theory vids on bitchute lol! It doesn't matter what u do as long as it takes your focus off eating or using food for entertainment. Preplanning meals is a huge way u can probably improve your eating especially if u have a kitchen and everything u need to make food at home. Or pre prepare. Practice pre preparing your meals for a day or two prior to start with. Simple meals u don't gotta be expert cook.

I can't. And because of my metabolism and probably my genes, I have never weighed more than 50kg. But thanks for the advice.

For me over eating and binge eating are an anxiety response. I know how to eat properly having met with several nutritionist in my life. Its not a matter of not knowing how to eat its just breaking a horrible habit. If I'm not binge eating, I'll binge shop or binge exercise and diet. I had a gastric bypass which helped a great deal, but I still have to watch my compulsive behavior. The one thing that has helped me in the past was journaling my thoughts.
