Help How to send DM to other members here ?

Hi is there any condition to fulfill before being able to send DMs in here ? Or is it just impossible ? Thx

You need to have a certain amount of posts before that permission is enabled. I don't know how many but I think it's at least a dozen or so. When hovering over someone's name there should be a button that says "Start Conversation" once you've fulfilled the requirement.

You can try to unlock it by posting and interacting more with offtopic like the games and stuff. Idk if that's what got me to unlock it, but I tried that.

That and they don't want researchers, trolls, and others to start harassing people. You can find more info on it in other threads. There might be info under member information center.

Yea you're right and to be honest I didn't check any information thread or anything yet lol hope it's not a problem that I made a post before even trying to find the info first. I figured it would be easier and faster sorry everyone !

Some people get annoyed by that, but I think it's fine. Especially for new members who don't have the search function it's hard. I hope you feel welcomed in this new community.
