Too long didn't read:
How do you make yourself fall asleep when you can't relax and stop thinking? And feel anxiety no matter how much you try to breathe? (Constant stimulation, always in my head, multi-tasking, never take breaks lifestyle)
More explanation:
I haven't slept properly since, fuck, covid?
I started sleeping late, like for 3 hours
Then I did more all nighters and slept late
Ever since then, I've become accustom to inconsistent sleeping time
It's gotten to a point I'm sleeping the whole day and waking up at night, going to sleep in the morning.
I've also had issues falling asleep since I was a kid, and I can never have a consistent way to sleep. I used to sleep with headphones blasting metal, and now I can't sleep if there's any noise! But lately, I just find that I can't sleep because I can't relax. I get anxiety in my stomach when it's time to sleep and it doesn't go away, I try to take deep breaths and I can't even breath deep. I can't stop thinking especially about the past, future, or things I have to do.
I feel lately I can't really relax, or cry, or have patience. I can't really feel anything or be present. I'm only able to sleep when I'm so tired and my body forces me to sleep.
Please, what do you guys do to fall asleep? I'm considering buying melatonin or trying to find a natural way to induce it since I'm pretty broke.
