It's all in the title. I have already prepared all the stuff : location and good rope
I'll do this in a forest
I will try to hang myself partially

I'm still trying to figure that out. In theory, it all makes sense and seems so simple.. so why have I struggled to do it so much? I think it's luck.. carotid compression, applying enough force and perseverance seems like the golden recipe

Planning and preparation are key to almost everything. Since failure causes many unwanted issues, please get the details worked out in advance.

Does anyone know of any FULL hang attempts that have been unsuccessful, after someone has full hanged, with feet nowhere near the floor, with the proper equipment, and for a suitable length of time i.e. a thin but strong rope, and for a couple of hours before being found, and still survived, and ended up a vegetable? Are there any examples where someone did all that correctly, but still ended up vegetated on life support? If the answer to that is NO, then I don't see why one would not just FULL hang, after taking strong pain killers i.e. opiates, and strong sedation i.e. benzos or phenobarbital, once in position and ready to fall, then slide off the branch, or step off the ladder, or whatever, and get it over with, without having to get the 'partial' correct.

@HopefulButPrepared I once heard someone took like 3 days to die by full but it was not on here it was on some other site where a lot of people are against any attempts so I'm not sure if it was made up or not. Hopefully someone will be along to say that's impossible! I can't remember where I read it now. Since I found this place I don't need to go on the other sites where you can't always be sure they are telling the truth or just trying to put you off.

Well, for me, that's where the fatal dose of phenobarb, xanax, amatrip comes in - if I do fuck it up and hang there for ages, I'll hopefully be in a coma, or ill puke the stuff up and choke on it!

You would really have to mess it up to survive 3 days! Planning and preparation are your friend.

Definitely! I hope to god that story is not true. I'm not sure where they could've gone wrong. I worry I would mess it up somehow as I'm not exactly that smart. I'm trying to read all I can but it can get confusing and contradictory at times.

It is normal, it is not a harmless act... Sodium nitrite looks more peaceful. Our animal instinct is programmed for survival, even our life in consciousness is objectively almost nothing but suffering.

Of course what is important is making sure that the place is isolated enough so there is no chance of the attempt being interrupted and apart from that all that someone can do is research the method to reduce the chance of failure, I was looking at the hanging mega thread. I do not really know much though and I wish that hanging is easier. It is the most easily accessible method for me, yet it seems so difficult to do. I have never attempted personally and it is so unfair how it is hard to leave this awful life behind. I hope that you find relief from your suffering.

Even with SN I think in theory it seems peaceful and easy, but for all the hours it takes to prep with the fasting and different medicines, I think survival instinct can still rear it's ugly head and make it difficult for people to ctb. It seems like there's a lot of people on here who already have SN but have struggled to take it.. the struggle seems to be similar regardless of the method

I tried. I couldn't lose consciousness easily. I was in a secluded place but I had this sense of struggle. I had a lot of trouble because I thought about the possible after-effects if I were revived even though I was isolated in an unlikely place. I know deep down I don't want to live anymore and it was those thoughts I had when I turned around. I've suffered enough inside to know that. I have tried to do this before with medication but I went into intensive care without any after-effects thankfully.

I will wait to receive sodium nitrite. If I have already done it with medication I can surely do it with sodium nitrite. The hardest thing is to think of my loved ones who do not want to see me go. But I can't go on living like this.
