Today will be the day I go by suspension. After a ton of research and trials I finally found a way that almost always makes me black out every time. I wish everyone the best of luck in their life and I love you all

Best of luck and may the god(ess) of death be kind to you ! But I am curious as well since everything I've tried so far either never gets me as far as unsconsciousness or takes a REALLY long and not very pleasant time....

Where is best place for rope on neck. Wiki says 2 fingers below Adam's apple. Most Pictures show rope under jaw, that I seen. Not sure how rope would stay in place with movement.

They block arteries with hands and loss of consciousness is really quick.
Hands. I am amazed.
We need a tutorial on these techniques.

Apparently, the overlapping of the jugular veins also leads to loss of consciousness, just a little more pain.

Hands can dig on the pressure points vice the whole neck.

I plan on inhaling and exhaling on a balloon until I start to get very light headed and then attempt said exercise.

I watched some hanging videos, but I did not see any of them coughing. I do not know how that it is possible. Even the scientific articles mentioned that person wont cough while hanging. How is that possible. Can someone shed some ideas on this issue

I still find this the most "appealing" method, besides N. I think it required A LOT of attempts and practice though......to find that "sweet spot".......if you bare down and don't loose consiousness in a matter of seconds then the spot is obviously wrong and you might as well get up and spare youself the pain, cause you most probably will not succed, until you find that perfect spot.

What if we don't have enough time to practice and its mandatory to attempt it immediately and succed in the first attempt..??

I don't really know. I think you can't overcome fear, it's going to be scary anyway.
Either way I know I'll make that final step because I don't want to live another day, no matter the fear.
Tomorrow I'll travel to the spot I found it is 3 hours away by car in the woods and try to do it

I was in that situation about month and a half ago and I think I was going crazy... for real... which is quite strange since I always been very strong. But I was looking for cables at home and had the urge to jump from my terrace, but I live on the 3rd floor. I was going nuts really.
Fortunately I gathered myself and went with a friend on a small vacation, this helped a lot to regain my confidence that I want to die but that I should do a proper research (ropes, knots, proper location, etc.), so now I have a plan for real.
Because I wanted to make sure I go for it and really die unlike the silly thoughts I had month and a half ago...

yes I've prepared alcohol and some sedatives to calm myself.
Not to intervene with your situation but to me it sounds you are desperate to do it you sound very emotional.
This is an important decision and you better take your time to rethink your life and if it is just a temporary situation maybe you can work it out. In my case it is because of how my entire life happened and I already tried enough...

Not exactly the same, but I tried grapping my throat where the OP describes it and squezzing hard a couple of times, and I also didnt get anything byt a tingly, very slight lightheaded feeling. no way near passing out.

I wonder why it is so hard to find this spot....

thats what i'm thinking, i have a desk with a solid metal bar construction underneath, using this to test until i find a good spot, used some bycicle puter cable (cyclist here, very bendy but hard) put some soap on the slipknot and put my head in, even pushed down but didnt get anything

There are a lot of videos on YouTube on how to find the carotid arteries. You should use your index and middle finger and slide them to the left and right from the Adam's apple or roughly the middle of your neck area until you feel pumping.

I will probably use a ratchet strap to replicate the video I posted on the last page. Passing out within merely 20 seconds does sound very attractive.

All the situations in life are temporary.. But, some situations will be better to die than facing them.. There will be no other options left..

This was a really informative and easy to read study of 6 videoed partial suspension ctb's, some of which occurred as a result of autoerotic asphyxiation. Across the board, all lost consciousness in 20 seconds or less, and after a few short phases of approximately equal duration, died between 1 3/4 and 8 minutes. So, loss of consciousness 10-20 seconds, death in less than 10 minutes total. If you've seen the video on this thread of the successful partial, each stage correlates with those in this study.

This is the boat I'm in. Death is the path of least resistance and as someone who believes that the length of our lives is irrelevant it's the only logical choice to make (read my bio). Sometimes it's better to accept game over instead of continuing to play an overly frustrating game in hard mode.

Seeing how easy it is apparently to pass out with partial I believe that the night night method is completely unnecessary. You can just skip the hanging part of partial and skip the bag/bottle caps etc. part of night night and just tighten a wide ratchet strap until you pass out. Though I would still try the hanging part with a ratchet strap first to get a feeling for how much pressure you should apply on your neck. Just tightening the ratchet strap will therefore be my backup method.

I have been thinking about this too....not live but record it on video and leave a note to a friend asking to post it to this site after I've successfully ctb'd. Not for attention seeking (I actually hate having any images/videos of myself anywhere out on social networks !) but to help people feel more confident about the method, see that it's not as horrible as one would imagine...but I am really unsure about how this would go down with people on this site. Would you rather be grateful for the opportunity and find it helpful, or be horrified and find it puts you off planning your own suicide? Please give some feedback !
