1.they are illegal
2. don't know how to get them

I mean, for what purpose? Anxiety? Muscle relaxers? Usually you can get something like those prescribed by a primary care physician at an appointment.
Anything like pain killers in the vicodin or tramadol realm they don't prescribe as freely as they used to 10-15 years ago, but are still possible to get depending on the doctor and what your ailment is.
But anything harder such as morphine or fent you aren't getting unless you're lying in a hospital bed prior to or after surgery.
