How can one get diabetes? I already have pre-diabetes so I was wondering what it would take for it to advance into full blown diabetes. I heard that diabetics could enter diabetic comas as well as ketoacidosis, which could become life-threatening if not resolved properly.

Should I eat a lot of added sugar? Processed foods? Bread and cakes? Maybe I'll just eat as many simple carbs as I can, lol…

Inducing a coma due to diabetes is like waiting for a piano to fall on you.

You're still young, and the likelihood of achieving that is very low. Moreover, it would take you years to achieve it, so it's not advisable.

Remember, along with the condition you desire, diabetes may bring impairment of vision, ulceration and circulatory problems of body extremeties and various other associated life changing (as distinct from life ending) conditions.

Its very hard to do that, you seem on the younger side rather than the older side and its much harder to get diabetes at a younger age, especially intentionally.

Ugh! This is honestly so annoying. I wish I could get some kind of terminal illness…well guess I gotta wait for my heart to give out from high cholesterol and high bp. Honestly I wish it would just stop already, it's just a stupid muscle…and I hate that it's involuntary! I wish I could just make mine stop. Literally stop beating and let me die already, wtf? I hate the fact that it's keeping me alive against my will

Even if you could voluntarily stop your own heart, cardiac arrest is so painful that you probably wouldn't be able to go through with CTB via cardiac arrest.

Universally, terminal illnesses have extremely painful side effects, so trying to give yourself a terminal illness is not advisable. The megathreds on this website contain all of the most painless CTB methods that any normal person could hope for, so your options are pretty limited.

I understand wanting to contract a terminal illness. I daydream about having cancer all the time. But it is unrealistic, and aside from all of the positive attention that you would get, it would definitely suck 100x more than a lot of CTB methods.

Honestly the only reason why I want to get a terminal illness is so I don't have to take matters into my own hands. I wish my health would fail so that I could die. I wouldn't mind getting murdered or dying in an accident either. I just don't want to do it myself…I'll probably be forced to though, bc most probably, no outside force will kill me (although I want one to)

I know exactly what you mean. I have the means to CTB, but I would rather die in a car accident or get pushed off of a roof than do it myself. Unfortunately, my time is limited, and my situation is getting worse, so I will likely be forced to as well.

There's a secret method of ctb not covered by those megathreads: if you write 999999 posts about your wishes to ctb, then you die.

I'm sorry to hear that your situation is worsening. Mine is as well, which is why I'm getting more and more desperate. I also have access to a method which people on here think would be pretty certain to work, but I'm still unsure about it. What if I fail? Then I'll be left with permanent damage. Just the act of doing it makes me scared because it's a risk…it's so uncertain and I hate it. I wish I could see and know the possible outcome of the attempt before I tried, and whether it would succeed or not. If I fail, then I'm better off not having tried

There are examples online of diabetics who tried to ctb by inducing a diabetic coma(taking lots of insulin intentionally) and failing. Ending up in a coma for days, then being taken out of that coma.

There's always the risk that being in a coma like for days can lead to brain damage if awoken from the coma before reaching your goal of ctb.

If you want to die by diabetic coma just eat donuts *donuts are known sugary food but it is wrong. Donuts have more fat than sugar.

Only fat causes diabetes, sugar improves diabetes. If you eat only sugar, potatoes, rice and beans just like ancient Asians used to do, you would cure your diabetic condition.

And you will trim down.

I know that sugar tastes good and all, but usually after like 2 cookies I'm done with cookies for the day and get that not so good feeling that comes when you eat too much junk food. The thought of binge eating an entire pack of cookies a day already makes me nauseous. Also, I bet there's better ways to go about it, like injecting glucose into the bloodstream directly. But why would you?

Just Take olanzapine...

I don't recommend it as it made me obese and raised my cholesterol so much my GP said I'll have to take statins so now I'm even more likely to suffer a stroke and be miserable

Lousy method. Diabetes will reduce your life expectancy by several years or a most a decade and a half. Might as well let Father Time finish you off normally. Plus your quality of life will be worse than an average person that doesn't have it

I know how you feel. I always kind of wished I would get some sort of terminal illness, then I could die in peace without getting shamed for it.

That sounds terrible, and I feel guilty saying it. It's not fair that some people who want to live life get these terrible diseases, whereas I don't want to be here anyway and am perfectly (physically) healthy. Life sucks :/

The end result of diabetes is not pain, it is cancer, it is lethargy followed by death. Hardly painful, as dead tissues make no noise, but u'll see urself growing obscenely tired, of the moons, of the stars, of everything u have ever desired. Friends and family u'll toss to the side for sleep and more sleep.

Ask your gp doctor to put u on a drug called zyprexa. I gained a bunch of weight pretty quickly and u crave sweets and junk food on it. It will eventually give u diabetes lol! But could take too long to actually kill u. U will just feel ugly because you're getting fat and turn into a zombie. The drug makes u lose your set point of appetite causing u to eat more than normal and crave carbohydrates. If u really want a fast way to die or get sick there's more lethal ways to do it. Maybe ask for all kinds of free injections at the clinics in the grocery stores or like at Walgreens, Target. Those might expedite your death and shorten life. But then u risk not dying instantly and u could end up with injection injury maiming u but could still take awhile to actually die.

Hardly, i have it, intentional induced diabetes/Liver cancer by seas of pastries and sugar pies, hollowness is all there is.
I have had liver stabs, but they were far too mild to be considered, cancer tissues tell no tales, U'll need a doctor to let u know.

Maybe don't reply to me. Just speak for yourself.

Who said this?

'I would have a sugarfree life, diabetes is hell-like'

Can you guess?

Why is everyone so spicey today?

On topic. I feel that might not be a good way to try to go. It takes a while for it to progress and if you don't die you just suffer more by having additional illness.

It must be from the pain that I am 'hardly' feeling right now.

Like all the other people who are 'hardly' feeling suicidal or 'hardly' depressed.

But hey never mind. I mean, why would anyone be annoyed by having their difficulties dismisses as mere trivia. It must just be me.

Back on topic: I don't think it takes much common sense to feel you are correct. I'm out.

The type of diabetes that can result in ketoacidosis is type I, the type you usually get when you're young. You can't get it voluntarily. You can get diabetes type II voluntarily if you have the right genes by gaining weight and eating unhealthy food. But the risk of ketoacidosis in diabetes type II is extremely low.
