One plan is SN + exit bag in a hotel. But now I'm considering full suspension hanging in a secluded forest or some place with trees. (I've failed partial over a dozen times, a few times I got dizzy but still couldn't lose consciousness, so full would have to do). But the problem is I don't know how to find a secluded area/how to make sure it's secluded. My main concern is I saw some news article years ago about a teenager who hanged himself on a tree, got found by someone walking through the forest, and was put on life support. He survived. I don't want that happening to me. And if I did use this method, how could I make sure someone walking through wouldn't find me? I'm thinking of maybe looking up trails and then just walking and walking and walking so that someone on the trail wouldn't find me. Would that work? If so, what's a good way to make sure the trail doesn't have a lot of people to start with? And how long after should I send a delayed email to the police?

I'm not ctb until the semester ends, so I have plenty of time to choose which of these two methods I should use. I'm also open to suggestions about which method to choose, although I will of course ultimately have to decide.

Thanks in advance.

I'd personally go to a trail/path that's furthest from the commonly used entrances to the forest (areas near car parks will be busiest for example) and then walk off trail until no longer visible from said trail; maybe cover myself in camo tarp or netting too for extra hiding

Going to the woods in question would also give a gauge for how busy it is and make for a peaceful day out

As for the email I wouldn't bother, an automated email to the police is only asking to get you sectioned and/or have them prevent you from carrying out any plans.

For methods I would combine all compatible methods I have available, you can't jump off a cliff while drowning but you can OD while hanging with a bag on your head
Asparin are also a cheap and easily available way of thinning the blood to make internal bleeding more likely and medical intervention more difficult

I think it would be better to ctb at night because if you hang yourself in a forest at 3am I would say chances are that no one will find you in time to "save" you.

If you have an opportunity then you can 'scout out' a good location. If you get a map of local woods you can see marked paths and then if you head over there you can add on to the map in pen any extra trails people have made. Then you can pinpoint a more deserted spot you can use.

Best to get as far away from populated areas as possible.
I suspect you don't have access to a car.
That makes it more difficult.

I plan to drive about 20 miles away from population, to remote area.
That is easy to do in USA, since we still have a lot of open space.
Using Google maps, I will choose a road which dead ends, so no through traffic.
Preferably a road which is not paved.
There are a lot of roads like that here, with no houses around.
Really don't know why there even exist.
Anyway, drive to end of road with lots of trees around for more camouflage.
Park a end of road, ctb in car using exit bag and N2.
