  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hell doesn't exist. If they are determined to live in their own fantasy world, you probably can't stop them. But you don't have to pay any attention to them. Just ignore them.

the thing is I am worried how it will affect them, they are going to be stressed for months and probably can't work

Suicide almost always affects other people, sometimes significantly. I don't think you can do much to change that.

Linda makes an excellent argument. suicide always affects friends and family regardless of their religious beliefs. in the end its up to you whether you dont ctb because of your family's beliefs or do it anyway.

It's only for a few months. Yes, suicide will always affect others friends and family. It doesn't matter. If you really want it get on with it.Time heals all wounds. They'll get over it. And by the way, hell doesn't exist.

To end their belief in hell you will need them to stop believing in their religion. Good luck with that.

Well, if you're coming at me with that kind of argument, what can I say? Sure, I don't know, but let's be rational. Do you really think billions of people that have existed and died in the past are being segregated into heaven and hell? Do you really think so? I mean, come on. What would be the point exactly? You do know that this is all fiction created by people in the past to control the masses, right? That's what religion is.

It's a concept created to keep people in line. Governments and popes needed to keep people in line by threatening them with the concept of hell. If you do wrong, you'll go to hell.'Cause the masses were all powerful. Control was really an illusion.

Jesus will save you from hell, so they say. Has nothing to do with how you die.

I like to believe death is just a return to emptiness from which everything arises.

There is a chance of going to hell but in all fairness there are other religious beliefs that do not see death as leading to eternal damnation. Why does the abrahamic world view have to be right? And from the main 3 abrahamic branches, why specifically Christianity have to be the right?

My response to that statement is always. "At least I'll be in good company."
