Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

every time i cut i end up cutting too deep eventually, probably because i use the razor blades incorrectly and end up cutting inches deep. i don't want to go to a hospital for stitches and then sent back to the psych ward. i have no money for drugs and nothing helps me cope.

any methods to cut without being sent to the hospital?

Do NOT use something "less sharp" unless it is completely blunt. Dull blades do more damage than sharp ones.

As far as a solution, I thought there was a post somewhere about non-damaging alternatives to cutting. @Dot is that thread/post somewhere or am I thinking of the general self-harm thread (did not really see anything there for this)?

There are other methods of self harm that don't leave anything behind that you could do. I like to do those to cope when I'm having urges. Otherwise I would just use less pressure.

i never said a dull blade, i meant more like i used to use a pair of scissors at first which could barely even do cat scratches and it did like almost 0 damage

For me, SH is about feeling something. So digging a fingernail in or scratching or biting my lip can all sometime work, and mean I'm in no danger of going deep (NB; still a risk of infection from any open wound). I get more upset with the risk of being asked questions (e.g from someone seeing a wound/recent scar) when I have no answers, so its developed into more of a 'hidden' practice for me. I guess it depends if you have worked out what part of cutting it is that helps you. And if you can adapt what you are doing to achieve that, without cutting so deep?

Sorry that's probably not much help. Good luck.

Learn where the arteries and veins are and avoid the big ones. Count how many strokes you're doing on a single cut and make sure you're not layering too much. Don't cut on the underside of your arms, there big veins/arteries are closer to the surface of your skin there (as well as nerves). If you need a sharp jolt of pain, try biting yourself. I find biting my fingers works well when I want to cut but I'm in public. Stop using razor blades, those things are sharp as hell. Also make sure the cuts are clean: run cold water on them afterwards. The last thing you would want after cutting is having to deal with infections.
