Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Hello,
I ran into a silly problem. I'm probably going to attempt the inert gas method as described in the PPeH but I can't seem to connect the regulator to a rotameter. It might have something to do with the fact that the rotameter is technically for Argon and not Nitrogen but I thought it would still work. The 1/4 coupling I have fits perfectly onto the regulator but doesn't work with the rotameter for whatever reason. So, how can I connect both elements? All help is greatly appreciated :D

Alternatively, do I even need to use the rotameter? I can connect the plastic tubing to the regulator directly and set the output pressure to a very low value. I'm not sure if a rotameter is even mentioned in the PPeH; I bought it cuz I'm supposed to get a gas flow of 15 L/min which I can't precisely set on the regulator itself but I don't think it's that big of a problem?

Technical specifications

Regulator:
Gas type: Nitrogen
Rated inlet pressure: 200 bar
Outlet pressure range: 0.5–10 bar
Rated flow rate: 30 m³/min
Inlet thread: W24.32x1/14
Outlet nut thread: G 1/4
Outlet port (ø): 6.3 mm

Rotameter:
(sadly I don't have the precise specifications as they just weren't in the product description but the 1/4 coupling I have seems to be the perfect size for it. For some reason I just cant put the rotameter inside to screw it in.)

Attached there are pictures of both products, maybe that will be helpful too
