im going on a week long vacation over seas with friends and ive been planning to hide my scars from them with makeup but im not sure how to get it through tsa to use during the vacation

im trying to bring liquid concealer as well as setting spray

i haven't properly measured them but im pretty sure they're too large to be allowed through

am i able to transfer jt into a smaller container? or does that look weird to have some mysterious liquid in a small container

any tips on how to bring it with me would be greatly appreciated

Containers up to 100ml are usually allowed (read the exact rules&regulations that apply at your airport/country).
If this isn't enough, you have to pack your makeup it in your checked bags.

If you are in the U.S., that is where I live, and I have flown for decades, carry one is still 3.4 ounces period.

If it was me, I would just buy it when you get there, as baggage in the belly of the plane can freeze and also tumble around all over the place.

I would never ever try to get around the TSA, as the airport cops will be there in a flash and now days, they REALLY mean business period.

Where I am, 100mL is the max limit for liquids, and I feel like most concealers would be under that! If your setting spray is larger maybe you could use a powder to get around the rules for liquid? A tinted powder could also add extra coverage.

The other thing to consider is not covering them. Your friends will probably have questions but if they're good friends they will be understanding. Most of mine have been very understanding and supportive and a couple even confided that they'd also struggled with self harm- I had no idea. Maybe talking about it will help? After all, makeup is good but scars create texture, you can't hide them 100%.
