How to avoid being found by police?

I'm planning to attempt this week and I'm hoping this time it will work. But I need at least 12 hours before I'm found, preferably 24hours. I'm not really familiar with how they find missing people in terms of phone tracking technology. I have been located by police dogs before. How can I ensure I'm not found too soon? I'd love to just do it in bed but unfortunately I can't so I have to run away and find somewhere to die, also unable to get a hotel.

You could always just not take your phone to where you plan to go.
