to begin, I have a great excuse.
I have recently been getting really bad migraine headaches, which give me great nausea at night and make it hard to sleep. So much so that others have been able to describe me looking pale and nauseous.

Also I have tried other antiemetics before, and have either had not great results, or had strange but harmless allergic reactions (like a patch made my pupil the size of my iris)

These are handy excuses, but I do not want my doctor to get suspicious that I am drug seeking.
And I have seen users gain access to it relatively easily
So I wanted to ask, what kind of phrasing can I use to convince my PCP to give me meto?

edit: forgot to say, but I have another question: tomorrow is Saturday and my clinic will see patients on Saturday but only for acute illness. Nausea headaches ARE acute illness, but because these appointments are shorter and more urgent, I may be viewed with more scrutiny if I ask for meto specifically. If I decide though to try to get it on this earlier date, what can I say on a quick Saturday appointment to convince them?

When it comes to these things, you never want to specifically ask for any drug and honestly even want to make it out like you are hesitant to try drugs.

You want them to think they came to the conclusion of giving you the drug.

It depends on your doctor though. Some doctors will write you a script to get rid of you as fast as possible. Others will want to go down lengthy treatment plans. It also depends on whether you are already taking drugs for migraines and whatnot.

Tell them you have been trying to manage it on your own but nausea is preventing you from sleeping some nights which is affecting work/school/whatever you are doing. Don't try to dramatify it, just present logical problems and your worries surrounding them. If you can't sleep you can't work and that's a major problem for you. Therefore, you've been forced to come to the doctor's office because you have no choice.

That doesn't work there are suggestions in this thread: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...t-like-getting-meto-via-telehealth-sn.211282/

Telehealth only cares about making money so they will write you whatever script they can, difficulty is finding a reliable one and some might not prescribe you meto for nausea but other anit-emetics. As long as it's prochlorperazine or ondansetron it's good. Some don't even require a virtual visit, literally just fill out a form.

Then there's international online pharmacies. Not the darkweb, can be found on the clearnet. There are plenty of reliable ones out there, but they require research to find and crypto for payment usually.

good to know about the online pharmacies, thanks.

Though about you, never want to ask for it specifically? What the heck am I supposed to do instead, even using the strategy you have given me?
Sorry, I don't mean to sound rude.

Hope and pray they give it to you.

You said you didn't want to appear drug-seeking. The suggestion I gave you is how to appear not drug-seeking.

You're welcome to try asking for it directly.

well, I'm sure users have asked for it directly and gotten it, meaning they didn't appear drug seeking. If that's not personally a strategy you tried or feel you should give advice on then don't..
Hope and pray they give it to me? So I ask for an antiemetic and hope that's the one? You know it's not usually the first treatment because it's a little more heavy handed, right? If I get some low-grade antiemetic, is that still gonna work here?? because if so, I'm not gonna worry too much if it's not metoclopramide.

Then use the search functionality and find those user's experiences instead of berating the only person willing to help you. Don't be a choosing beggar.

i'm sorry, I'm not sure why you're mad at me. I apologize if something I said to you was taken by offense. Every comment you've left on this thread seemed a little hostile to me.
I do not mean you any offense and I'm sorry if you feel that way.
I'm not sure why you're calling me names. Please don't do that.
If you've got something going on, please deal with it yourself right now and don't involve me or comment here anymore, please.
If you have anything helpful that you think I should know, feel free to comment. But if it's just hostile like your last few comments, please take them somewhere else.
Thank you for linking me to that thread where people were getting meto. That helped a lot. ❤️

I am so confused. You've been hostile since your first response and are now trying to play the victim. Just going to leave this convo and block your account because you don't seem stable at all.
