How should I spend my last day?

I've made up my mind. In November I am going to die. I haven't set a date yet but I am currently waiting on my driving licence coming so that they can ID me when it happens. I thought a bit about methods and I've decided on how I'm going to do it. Now I have roughly 12k in savings. I was initially putting it towards surgery for myself but that obviously isn't going to happen now. That's a hell of a lot of cash.

How should I spend my last day on Earth? I haven't the faintest idea. Keep in mind, that because I won't want to be stopped I can't do anything illegal. I can't attract police attention before I run off to end things. They can't get in the way of this. I also don't have any contacts who'd be able to get me drugs anyway.

I want to try and have fun once I have my affairs all in order. What should I do?

with 12k in savings, theres A LOT you can do. if i were you, id probably travel somewhere. or maybe go to a museum, arcade, or any place with really expensive tickets lol. you could also maybe book a reservation for a really fancy restaurant?

if i knew where you lived i could give better suggestions.

With 12k you can't spend it all in one day if you ctb. Give yourself the best week of your life. Like fish lover said you can do a lot. Traveling to another country would be ideal, as well as feeding yourself the finest of foods you come across. Maybe meet up with someone on the forum so you can have good last conversation with someone likeminded. It would be nice if we could get update pictures of your journey!

12k? Do a cruise or a few cruises round the world for a coupla months & get a balcony. Party or just chill.
I'm thinking about doing that -chillin & watching sunrise/sunset depending on side i'm on- rather than staying in a caravan park in the woods.
Always wanted to cruise, worried bout tummy bugs tho...

And what surgery? Why couldn't you get it?

I could've afforded the op within less than a year but I mean, I'm not going to be around much longer. I also realised that said operation, although would've greatly improved my mental health wouldn't fix anything else going wrong in my life.


Unfortunately I do not have a passport (the DL will be my only valid form of photographic ID) so I would be unable to travel, as people are suggesting. Not without delaying things even longer as I wait on a passport.

Speaking of comedy shows, have you or anyone else here in this thread heard of Dragos? He's a comedian I first became acquainted with on Reddit before I got banned - I like him a lot.

Depending on the country, you may be able to fly domestically with just your ID.
IK in US you can, as well as European ID cards should be sufficient for EU-wide travels too

I'd look up your countries' specifics on that if travel interests ya

Can only travel within the UK and Ireland with the ID I have. But there's not much I'd want to do within the region itself as like a specific thing.

Y'know, funny enough, I was (ctb-related) recently in the UK, and had to live off spending lots of money each day.

I honestly enjoyed it a lot.
Not that it has to be ur thing too, I'm travel-obsessed, but there is generally something fun and free about letting go of caring (all too much) about how much you spend and just, idk, get nice food you see, treat yourself really well, buy what you want, get a hotel to sleep in etc.
Maybe explore some unknown town or area and soak in the blissful ignorance of surface level customer service kindness.

Something to consider in concept, even if you don't have anywhere specific you'd like to see.
