Help How reliable is the purity of the SN from the MIC?

היי חברים, מה שלומכם? אני חדש כאן בקהילה ורציתי לשאול אם מישהו הזמין SN מ-MIC וקיבל מוצר טהור? יש לי תחושה שמה שהם שולחים לשם לא כל כך בטוח ואין יכולת אמיתית לבדוק את המוצר ולאמת את טוהר שלו. זה מפריע לי כי אני רוצה לעשות את ה-CTB שלי בהקדם האפשרי ואני לא רוצה לשאת בתוצאות של צריכת חומר לא טהור, אני אודה לכולם על עזרתכם. תודה

Hi! There are ways to test it that can be found on this forum, you need to either use aquarium test strips or put it in some blood and see if the blood changes color. Instructions can be found on the forum through search. Best of luck to you.

Well, I have a sample size of 1, so idk how reliable this is lol. I ordered SN from MiC and every test I've done so far indicates it is SN. That said, many people have ordered from MiC and received what is decidedly not SN. I'm afraid you have to test it no matter what. It's the only way to be sure.

But from what I understand, blood tests and aquarium strip tests are not particularly reliable in terms of purity unless the material itself contains nitrite or not. I would be happy if someone ordered from MIC and did a more comprehensive test and could answer me. Thank you

Well, no test is 100% realiable, but blood and aquarium is what's generally recommended. I'm not sure if a different test method is possible for a random person to acquire without arousing suspicion, we can hardly do spectrometry or anything like that. It should be noted that not all SN from MIC is the same, due to the nature of the site. You've got to test what you got, or find someone to coordinate with that you buy from the same listing.
