I'm not sure how much of this I can say so I'll keep it brief.

I have been in communication with someone who did pass from SN. They were adamant about going through and asked me if I'd be there for them to talk them through and comfort them. I can say from that experience that when done correctly, the majority of the pain really is just the vomiting and difficulty breathing. Like most hypoxia methods, that's about it, albeit she seemed to pass very peacefully. One second she was there, the next she wasn't. She got to die in bed, sleepy from the difficulty breathing, but nonetheless still somewhat comfortably.

That said I can't speak to this experience being universal, and have seen people on this forum who have posted about their failed attempt. If you want, search to see if there are any journals and posts on this forum regarding Sn. And remember to consult pph before going through with anything.

What do you mean by "difficulty breathing". Was it like a feeling of suffocation or something else?

No, and contrary to numerous assumptions around sn, no you don't feel physical suffocation like you would if you were unable to breathe, you can still breathe, it's more shallow breathing than anything rapid and disorienting that'll cause panic, at least that's what I know from someone I know who attempted before, we discussed it at length and they repeatedly stated their breathing wasn't compromised at all.

Ditto. She wasn't choking or suffocating, she was just having a hard time getting a good breath of oxygen that felt right.

Exactly, to add further to this, she soon became drowsy and very weak before she closed her eyes, so I don't know how reassuring this would be since it is one person's experience but more so, her symptoms were consistent since she attempted more than once, not trying to make it sound picturesque but at the same time, it's more grounded and realistic compared to the claims of agonizing pain I've seen quoted several times over and over.

Can I ask about the vomiting though? Did they successfully ctb despite vomiting? Was it just the impulse to vomit or did they indeed vomit?

She vomitted ya. She never even managed to take her second dose.

I will say she took the dose for an average sized man as a tiny 5'2 girl, so that definitely has something to do with it.

I believe the taste is the worst aspect of it. If you can keep it down, then you're good to go.

True but with that said, there have been a few medical cases where people still pass despite treatment, shows how survival with it is rare.

I suggest reading the PPH to get a better understanding as well as any subsequent threads around the forum that will help

I have digestive issues as well (IBS). And have attempted 3x via hanging and those were painful.

I'm scared myself about the pain, but if it's just stomach pain, vomitting, a headache. I think it's better than the failed attempts of hanging I did or attempting a gun and failing o;

I'm still scared though tbh. That's why I'm still here

It's painful and uncomfortable as you're DYING. Unless it's magic, any type of poison such as sn will be painful. Your soul is coming out, you stop breathing, and you will vomit some acid if you fasted 2 days, if not it will be a lot of vomiting. This is the reality of SN or any oral method. My friend died by sn and his room was nasty and smelly from whatever happened to him within 35 minutes. His mom called special agency to clean it. I didn't read the other comments, but I do t like people telling you it's not painful if in fact it is.

true, you know something is horribly wrong. Even if it's not physically very painful, mentally it's very harrowing, as you FEEL you cannot take a good deep breeath and SEE the cyanosis.
SN is not that peaceful. There are several better methods [but often access is harder] like nembutal, inert gas, opioids.

I have it to use if I have to. You're right I wish we have better methods
