Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

After death there comes nothing. So after 100 years nothing, aftet 1000 years still nothing, after 1 million years still nothing?

After 1000000000000 years still nothingness?
For me its a problem.

After thinking about it for a long time I've come to the conclusion that open individualism or empty individualism is the most logical understanding of the self in the world. Consciousness will continue to exist, but its contents will differ. You (and me, and everyone) are experiencing all lives of all conscious creatures at all time, but you obviously can't remember because you only have access to your local memory and sensory perceptions. Imagine you would constantly switch between two personalities with their own set of memories. Each personality would feel like their own self and have no memories of each other, even though "you" in a sense are both. Now apply that same thought experiment to all conscious creatures that have ever lived and will ever live and you get the idea of open individualism.

I think the question of time passing for thousands, millions and billions of years seems terrifying to us because as humans, these scales are far too large for us to imagine. We know what 1 year corresponds to, we have experienced it, we know roughly how long it takes. But 1 billion years is so abstract.

When looking at the theories about the end of the universe, eternal nothingness and the disappearance of all forms of matter and life forever would be possible. It seems like a tragedy to us because it is so far removed from what we are experiencing. But why would one model be more problematic than another?

This is how I think about it: for time to "pass" you need to be alive to experience it passing. When you're dead there are no "years". An hour is no different from a quintillion years.

Hypothetical scenario I thought of to explain it to myself: lets say that in 10 trillion years humans are so evolved that they can bring people back from the dead. So, they do exactly that. They bring you back to how you were before you fatally injured yourself. When you open your eyes in 10 trillion years, it will feel as though you had just closed them when you died. You did not feel those 10 trillion years. It was an instant. You died and then instantly woke up alive 10 trillion years later.

That's how I like to think of it.

I don't understand how nothingness can even be a problem as we simply won't be there at that point. The non existent have no concerns or problems as they don't exist, they cannot care about anything as they lack the consciousness to do so. I believe death to be just like how before we were born where time passed and yet we were not aware of anything, we are simply returning to that state of non existence.

Then I'd recommend the millennia old drug:

✨ Religion ✨

It has proven effective time and time again. Making unbearable things bearable und getting rid of everything that might bother your consciousness, because it is too big, incomprehensible, heavy or whatever for the human mind to cope with. It will even give you a sense of purpose.
Side effects might include turning into a mindless drone and/or an asshole. But that will only bother others, no worries.

Get your first dose at your local church this Sunday!

Yes, my comment wasn't meant as practical advice anyway.
In the end there's nothing that can help with this. You will never be able to grasp the concept of eternal nothingness, I'm sorry. You can only hope to come to peace with your confusion.
