My N is on the way. If it doesn't get seized and I maintain my liberty I should be ready to go by Friday, being optimistic. The problem is, my wife will be asleep in the next room. I saw a Louis Theroux documentary about assisted dying where a guy took many hours to die and he was making loads of noise. Can anyone remember I'd that was N? I think it was? I'm in deep trouble if I fail even once. I will soon be too disabled to take any action to end my life very soon. My life is already pretty unbearable.

Louis Theroux: Altered States Series 1
The high priest of acutely angled documentaries returns with a new Series

Ep. 2) Choosing Death
Louis Theroux visits California, one of six states in the US where the terminally ill have the right to end their own lives. He investigates the moral and legal issues surrounding this situation, meeting people who have made the choice to die, but now need to decide when, as well as a group that helps people who do not fit the legal criteria.

It likely wasn't N. You fall asleep within 10 mins with N.

Just watched it. Although the film makers were careful not to show the exact method, the patient said he had 15 grams of 'powder' that he was going to mix with apple juice.

He also had a couple of AE pills that he had to take an hour before.

Although he seems to have lost consciousness fairly quickly, he was snoring loudly after four hours.

A family friend who was a doctor was present. He mentioned that the dose might have been too little.

However, the guy was dead seven hours later.

Bear in mind that the guy was a cancer patient, old and really frail.

Personally, I suspect he was using N.

Do you think this is the norm for people using N? Snoring very loudly in your sleep?

What is your disability?

I think so, especially if you snore loudly in the first place, have a high body weight and/or suffer from sleep apnea.

Other than loud snoring (which I've been told I do), what other noise? Loud moaning? Yelling? Loud snoring seems like nothing. But I certainly wouldn't want to be wailing and draw attention to myself before I go bye bye. Then I'd really moan!

I really don't think that you'd be moaning, yelling etc. After N is taken, unconsciousness follows swiftly followed by a coma phase.

If you snore and take N why not just go back to bed and go to 'sleep'

Turned down the CPAP option..First of all, I'm going to ctb within two years, so what's the point? Why would I care abt the elevated risk of a heart attack, etc.? Also, the equipment company rep said it was a monthly rental (something like $200 month I think he said) for 13 months, and I had to "comply" with using it a min. of four hours a night. Should I fail to do so, they'd demand payment in full for the balance due.
Jesus. I told him I don't like the idea of someone monitoring my sleep and demanding one "comply" with anything. Corporate demagogues. So, snoring like Godzilla shall continue.

Sorry to revive and old thread, Instead of creating a new one I thought I would post here.

I recently watched this, and came to the exact same conclusion as below. Gus was given AE pills to take before, and a bottle with a white powder that he said he was going to add to juice.

I understand deathrattles and the death process pretty well, Gus took ~7 hours to die, and while he didn't look conscious, he didn't look comfortable.

I wonder why he took so long to die, and is that the norm?

I could never do that with a family member next door. Really unfair on them.she will also have to answer alot of questions from the police to rule out foul play.

Take yourself away from everyone if CTB is your choice.

Good luck 👊🏻
