Can it still be used after its expiration date, if so how long?

expiration dates are generally conservative estimates. If you have it in tablet form, provided it was stored properly in a cool and dry place, you're probably fine for a couple of years.

That being said, the efficacy could have already been somewhat affected... but if it was a pill bottle that wasn't opened often and kept away from heat, light, and humidity, it should be okay, just possibly slightly less potent.

Excellent advice- if a tablet is only a few weeks/ months out and stored in the dark/ airtight container -efficacy is lowered but not by huge amount **** wouldn't recommend taking it though
