Consistently since I was 13, so 8 years. The only significant chunk of time where I never or very rarely thought about dying & felt like suicide wasn't an option for me was between October of 2018 and mid-May of this year. I don't have a clue why, but I had a really fantastic stretch, and then i crashed back into this so so hard.

I kinda always knew that I didn't want to live from a pretty early age, but I would use excuses like "Oh, once I finish this grade things will get better" or "it's just puberty" but I know now that I'm getting nowhere in life, so I kinda just accepted the fact. I've been full blown suicidal off and on for about a year and a half now.

When I was 8 I wanted to "go away because I hated everyone" and walked into traffic. Suicidal or not? Not sure. But after my brother ctb when I was 12, it was all I could think about.
