  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Like for people with mental illnesses and etc where we can just go in take a pill or whatever and die peacefully?

Spain has made progress and hopefully change effect will happen and stuff but idk. Sometimes feel like euthanasia or assisted suicide would be the only way for me. I'm a mess lol

A very long time I bet. Suicide due to anything other than serious physical illnesses is still very much stigmatised.

Until most jobs are automated and therefore people become expendable, along with substantial ecological pressure from overpopulation, we will not have legalized euthanasia for those who wish to seek reprieve from this hell.

Unfortunately, probably not until the 2060's or so, and even then probably not in non-Western countries.

The UK needs this . A center where we can go and be put down like you can with pets in a vets.
It should be a human right to have control of how and when you choose to end your life like so many other human rights.

They don't have centres for it, and it's not encouraged but there is currently no law preventing assisted suicide in Scotland, UK according to Wikipedia which I understand may not be 100% reliable but it's a possibility

We all deserve the option of euthanasia, a peaceful exit at a time of our own choosing, but the society expects us to stay alive for decades. Nobody should have to resort to painful methods that could fail. I do not know if it will be ever legalised for everyone, everywhere as it would shatter the delusion that people have that life is always worth living.

The sad thing is society sees anyone opting out as a personal insult or failure. Beyond assisted suicide - I.e. when you are I'll, I want the ability for end my life before I get ill at a time of my choosing which is why I have opted out of all medical treatments

In terms of the US, too long. The world is slowly becoming progressive, but not at the speed where it will become available in the near future. My guess is that once the boomer generation completely dies off then it will start becoming widely available.

There is no specific crime of assisting a suicide in Scotland. But it is more than likely that helping a person to die could lead to prosecution for murder, culpable homicide or reckless endangerment as we are governed by UK laws where no Scottish laws apply.
My parents are certainly not risking going to prison even although I'm extremely physically ill it'll be N for me Once acquired hopefully by end of month. My parents accept my need to die they are obviously upset but like to see me suffering so badly.

I think that might be what "The Great Reset" is all about actually (not that I believe there's significant ecological pressure nor that what pressure there is is even manmade but it's constantly being hammered into the media *conglomerates*), so could be good news for suicidals.
I still believe the moves and shakers of the planet have no problem with and are probably even keen on the idea of normalizing suicide for the plebs, those who failed in what they believe is a legitimate meritocracy. It's already been legalized for almost all situations by the canardian liberals: who only ever do what their globalist masters (in this case the Bronfman crime family aka jewish mafia) tell them. I believe it will be increasingly accessible over time in most parts of the world. Sure, there are voting block strategies in the farce called democracy that might want to use opposition to it for political gain here and there (like with most of the few? politicians who claim to oppose abortion) but overall it will only become more common and more accepted, including legally. Imo. Not sure about non-western countries though, maybe they're significantly different.

It depends on whether we are talking about assisted suicide for terminally ill people or for all adults. We aren't even close to having assisted suicide for terminally ill adults, though I believe we will eventually get there. However, I don't think we will ever have assisted suicide for all adults.

I think it'll be a long time until terminally ill assisted suicides accepted in the UK let alone other illnesses. I also find it annoying that aside of mental health long term chronic physical health sufferers are expected to just continue existing. I have many rare conditions & severe physical pain yet the bus just tell me it's all anxiety because it doesn't show up on scans or they can't be bothered with anything bar medication which has done nothing for me. People who have been bed ridden 6 months or more & no chance of recovery should be allowed the right to die.
