  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

So I got my N over summer and seeing that D has disappeared and may not be back, I'm thankful I slaved away at work to afford it, but I have a question…. How long do you guys think N lasts? I've heard so many different things so I'm not sure what the truth is… I am hoping to not be here longer than a year (that's way over what I thought I'd be but I'm now helping my brother move out of the abusive house) so I'm wondering what your thoughts are on it's shelf life? Some have said two years, a year, and then others said wayyy more with proper storage. i just want accurate info on this since I know I may never get to access it again. I'm also hoping I don't fucking fail because I can't afford to fail at this point in my life

I think it's hard to answer. I mean the shelf life from the producer say nothing. I would say that it will differ between brands, depending on the composition of the rubber in the cap. (How quick it will start to degrade and expose the liquid to oxygen) but a guess would be that it would still be close to as potent as new years after expire date if not opened. But this is just speculations from my side.

It's years if stored correctly. How many years is uncertain. Some say 10+. I think there's been test samples that held that up but storage is going to be a factor and as such it's just too hard to put a number on.

My experience with liquid medications (an opiate in particular) is that they can most certainly last 10 years plus. I'd had my bottle (of opiate) open a few times and it's still potent to this day. However this doesn't mean that the same would carry over to N.

Everything on individual merit!

I think it's safe to say that a year or two is certain given that the expiry date is usually around a year after purchase. After that long I'd suggest forking out for a test through EC. It's not that expensive considering the peace of mind it can bring. No sense in putting it in the hands of chance once uncertainty arrives.

What is EC and how do I go about that? Thank you!

It's a testing facility (in Spain I think). EC stands for Energy Control. If you look it up here you'll find info on it and the way it's been used by forum members. I'm not sure on the logistics but contacting them via their site will answer your queries.
