How does one qualify for assisted suicide?

I know that it's legal in certain countries. What is the process do you know of anyone personally who got approved?

I don't know much and I don't know how much help you want - I could just suggest googling it.

I looked into it briefly, I know I wouldn't be given it unfortunately. Switzerland has some, but you iirc you need to pay to apply and they can reject you, and they don't give it to anybody. If you are young/not severely ill then it's basically no chance.

Only physiological conditions qualify at this time, with psychological conditions maybe being able to qualify beginning in March 2027.

In Spain, you do it through Social Security. You have to provide medical reports showing that you've tried to get better and that you have a disabling, painful condition that isn't going to improve. It can take years to be resolved.
