Discussion How do you think your body will be found?

I work at McDonald's and if I go ghost I don't think they'd even care enough to contact my mum (emergency contact) I literally have zero friends or regular contacts except my mum who calls once a week to check up. I live alone. I estimate it will be a good two weeks post mortem before she calls someone to do a welfare check. My corpse will be far too rotten for a funeral. Anyone think about how their body will be found?

If I ever put my plans into action (which means if my husband dies before me), they will include taking a good deal of care to ensure that it isn't ever found.

It isn't like any of us would be there at that point so why would it matter, one would need to be conscious to care about anything. After all, we all have to die somewhere, someday, it's just inevitable, death is the most normal thing ever and it's all that we are destined for.

Whenever planning suicide, I've always kept this in mind. I'd hate to burden my parents, or some other innocent person with finding me. My plan has always been to notify police, so someone who is trained to deal with it can find me.

Thought ahead on this. Through a phone location request with the police which would locate my vehicle when I'm not returning calls to anyone or some unfortunate soul walking by calling it in.

On a more humorous note I'm still mulling the troubling problem of how to make sure my bowels are empty and my underwear stays clean when I pass. Wear a diaper? Make sure you don't eat for a few days BEFORE your final visit to the loo?

I don't know the specifics of how to do this, but I think its possible to do a time delayed phone call to the police so they can discover your body before decays too badly.

In my case, if done correctly, my body will never be found. I just can't imagine how my sister would react to the news of my suicide, but I know it would be devastating.

I know that my body won't be found until a week later if someone gets concerned about not seeing me for a while, which I doubt. The smell of my body might give it away after a while, though. I'm already always locked up in my room as it is so it won't strike anyone as weird if they do not see me for a few days. I would probably be found by my roommate or one of my caseworkers.

I've considered something like a deadman's switch as I believe most email services and phones are capable of scheduling a text message, the former not requiring any device to even be on possibly which might be important if you're more set on disposing of your electronics. And the best part is you can always disable them if you decide to cancel, very low risk.

I live with my parents. I've struggled with the idea of them finding me, but ultimately I'm a realist and I can't imagine making an attempt anywhere except my bedroom. Trying to decide if I would rather do it overnight or first thing after I wake up. My absence won't be noticed until I don't come down for breakfast/lunch.

I'll be discovered by my complex management. Probably a maintenance guy or one of the front desk people. I'll be badly decomposed by then. I'm covering my head with a blanket so that it's not all-out gruesome. Other than that, I'll be gone.

Except for the people who find me, I don't care.

I'll probably just be hanging there yk, seriously though I have no idea, I'm gonna do it on a day where I have the whole house to myself for the whole day so I was planning on leaving a note on my door or something saying something like call the cops and barricades myself in my room/bathroom (depends) I don't really want my parents to see me like that

They will find me fresh, I will schedule a message to be sent to the people I know 24 hours after I started to ctb

If I fail I will cancel the message!

Yeah, though I've heard from people I know, that when one of their family members died at home, it took several hours before services came to take them away. I guess if I research it a bit more, I could make it work

Your body will be all blue from the sn.

Won't matter anymore. Even if it was a gruesome scene, it takes a couple of hours to clean and then they'll move on.

mostly my mental issues, im just sick of the constant pain. i also lost almost all my friends and ruined relationships i had so i feel completely worthless and useless lately

I will take my phone with me which the police can track. My family will report me as missing and the police will find my corpse, since the place am CTB'ing in is such an abandoned and random place. I can't torture my family with my missing which can take months to find without my phone.

If I die by suicide I want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered into a forest so I can be long forgotten as if I never existed In the first place. Or I will jump to my death and there will be nothing to save for a funeral anyway.
