  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I think there are way less active members online compared to the last years. However, there are more guests probably many bots.

I could not say what actually changed compared to 2020 when I joined. But I will try.

I think there are more critical voices againist pro-mortalism and antinatalism now. There was more incel content but maybe there was a surge lately. There was a time members who ctb were called legends I think. I was a member who called this out as questionable and I think less and less people used it. There were more media reports. Especially, the VICE, NYT, BBC, Tantacrul articles/video caused a lot of traffic. I think the search engines chaged their strategy. There were way more posts from fixthe26 on Twitter/X. I think they don't post about this forum anymore. As an explanation. They were mothers of members that committed suicide.

I could imagine the traffic will become less and less. Mabye there will be no more admin/staff who want to be responsible for the content.

I think this forum will still exist in one year. In 5 or 10 years I am not that sure.

Yes, more media outlets were covering the site. I also think people were here for info about N. I noticed that many of the older, wiser members left around the time N was no longer available.

My Predictions

-only accessible through archives

-a read only forum

-active with more bots than active members and
the top and most recent post being extremely old

-maybe a user or mod decides to start a irc chat and whoever is trusted or still active on the forum moves there while the forum decays and then that decays as well

-people covering the site as "disturbing" internet lore or on an iceberg list or as some kind or oddity or anomaly and there will be clickbait thumbnails calling it a cult with many cult accusations

-maybe a few things coming to the surface (that may or may not be discussed or explained in a final post or thread) that could lead to the site being read only or only accessible through archives

-someone from here will create a new website that is more private and secret and more moderated that will probably be invite only, and it will not look like or give away what it's about it what it's for/what's being discussed
