How do you live without a nose

I was thinking of this because of people who have shot off their nose while attempting suicide, and survived.

Wouldn't you need a way to get rid of snot?

I would quickly finish the job by doing it properly and use a sawed off shotgun that would take my head square off my shoulders. I could use a gun like that now, things are really rough right now
