How do you choose your date?

How did you choose you suicide date? Does it have special significance? Or is it random?

I simply chose a date that felt right to me.

my date will be as soon as i get what i need and feel ready, but soon, before the month is up hopefully

My date will probably just be "whenever I decide I'm really truly over it" but if I have the wherewithall to actually choose once I've reached that point, probably a day someone else of importance to my family died so I just make one day extra miserable instead of adding a whole new shitty day to the year

Don't have a specific date in mind, but sometime in the First week of December. Assuming i've gathered my supples that is. Now I'm debating if I should wait for a rainy day or not.

First, I was thinking about something symbolical, a day that a person I admire died too, but now I'm just gathering everything I need (again) to ctb in a day where I'm alone in the house and won't be disturbed for hours. In fact, working with a specific date can be very complicated, as things tend to go different than our plans.
