How do you buy nitrogen

Just curious, like what would you say? I know nothing about these things and have no idea how I'd explain what I'm buying it for. How do I explain how much I need, and get instructions on how to regulate the flow to this specific use? How to connect a full face diving mask to the cylinder etc? Lol I have no idea what I'd say but I think I'd need help to figure out how it works, how I regulate the flow etc

Me neither and I feel like it would be so easy to tell that I have no idea what I'm doing lol. And that must seem kind of weird, buying a gas sylinder without any knowledge about how to use it?? I feel like it would seem obvious that I'm planning on ctb but maybe not haha

Airgas.com they have stores All across America. You need an account to buy gas from them but it's a simple Online form. After that you need food grade nitrogen . You need it for a family Member Who likes to make beer , and it's a present . That way it's legit and knowing Zero about nitrogen isn't suspicious.

You can buy nitrogen at a welding supply store. You don't have to give them a detailed explanation on why you want to buy it. Its not regulated. They will sell it to anyone. There are a lot of legitimate uses for nitrogen. There is a nitrogen mega thread with a lot of good information. You should do some research first before you buy the nitrogen.

You don't need to explain anything. If you go to the grocery store, do you explain what you want the two cases of Pepsi for? Are you in the US? If so, just go to a gas supplier and tell them you want to rent a bottle of Nitrogen. I'm sure they'll ask you what size bottle you want. Do your research first and make sure you get a big enough one for your needs. Obviously, you can't talk to them about connecting a full face diving mask to the tank. That's up to you to figure out how to do that, and there's a lot of info on SaSu for doing just that. You can call the gas place first on the phone inquiring about how much it costs to rent a bottle of nitrogen, what size, etc. If you're renting a bottle of Nitrogen, I think it safe to assume that the company is going to assume that you have a legit use for it and should already understand about what valves will fit it and such. You do your research ahead of time and become familiar with the fittings on the bottles so that you can sound intelligent when speaking about it. After making a phone call, that easily sets the stage that follows that you would show up and get one after that. Don't volunteer any information that you don't need to. You will only sound suspicious. People go in these places every day to get tanks, get their tanks filled, exchange tanks, etc.

Beer gas is 75% N2 and 25 CO2 so probably not what you want.
