A lot of the harm reduction organizations have fentanyl tests.
Find one of those groups that pass out clean needles, Narcan, and educate on how to do drugs safely.
They almost always have the tests for free.
It will only tell you if fentanyl is present, not the amount.
I don't know what the fatal level is. I assume it's different for everyone.

The general dose that is fatal, according t a few searches, is 2 - 3 milligrams, though it can vary some from person to person- it could be higher for some people.

I don't know what the bioavailability of it is when eaten. Might depend how it comes. Its such potent stuff though it might not matter. I think eating it is probably the slowest route of administration. IV being the quickest. A member here rubbed a tiny very amount on their gums and gets high so I don't think it's hard to take orally at all.

The bioavailability is only 33% orally. If you mix it into water and drink it, it most likely will not work. When you leave it in your mouth it enters your blood stream through your mucus glands which is more effective than swallowing. The police officers dying from touching it was proven fake.

That's my instinct too. I've seen the same happen with someone that ate H to avoid being charged. What they ate should have killed them but did very little. What I know about H is that it comes im different forms. The salt and the base forms have different bioavailability due to one needing an acid (vit c or citric powder to break it down for IV use) and the other being water soluble. What adds to my confusion is that F is often an ingredient in pressed oxy/M30 pills. It makes me think its either being sold in different forms (like H) or it's assumed that anyone buying pressed pills is planning to smoke or snort them. In which case it seems pretty pointless even pressing the pills unless it's a technicality to get around the blanket ban on F sales on DNM's.

I'm trying to use m30s to ctb and from my understanding most people that use them smoke or snort them and IV it if they were previously H users. I'm debating whether or not I should try IVing it or just snort as many as possible. The small amount I gummed gave me an awful canker sore

That's not a good sign. I'm not familiar with F like I am H but I don't think that's normal. That's the thing with m30 presses. They can contain various things and it's a total dice roll. Can you afford to get some from a new batch and see if that's something you can avoid a second time round? If that happened with your gums then snorting is gonna be rough. Particularly trying to snort as many as possible.

IV'ing pills isn't a great idea due to the talc. They say use a micron filter if you do. It's mostly for people trying to avoid the loss of limbs and lungs (due to clots) so I can see the argument that it matters not if catching your bus but there's always the possibility of failure so better not to leave yourself even worse off.
