After my best friend from our high school band committed suicide at age 15 and this other guy that committed suicide at age 27 and was an IP in the Air Force, I have felt like, "Why can't I?" Ever since about 01/27/23, I have been planning it out. By 02/11 or something like that, I had finally got into my parent's gun safe. I left it once I got in because I was babysitting my 9 year old brother and thought that would be rather… not so great if I had tried anything more. I was just glad I had found the key. The key to my end. However, when I went back some day later, I found the unloaded gun without any bullets whatsoever. So now it's been almost 2 months, and still, I do not have any bullets. I would like some suggestions on how I can get some. After all, I plan to go out like my friend, Legend, did. A bullet of death through the left temple, and a guaranteed eternity of peace out the right. It's sickening seeing every day that he cannot. I didn't mean to write this much, because all I need is a 9mm ≈158 grain bullet & cartridge. Just one. Just 1.

(The picture is of the last sunrise my best friend would ever see. I took it on an iPhone 6 because I had broken my other phone and was waiting for a new one lol) 9E2D20F1 65DA 4DA8 B552 D3B35DEA4033
Summary: I have been planning to CBT after my friends did it themselves. All I need is a bullet, how can I get one?

Not that easy. Most states require a firearm owner id card to purchase ammunition.
The smart-ass answer is try to rob a drug dealer. They will gladly give you a 9...

At this point I'm just looking for someone I could give like $20-$100 for a single bullet lol

Really? Wow. I thought that in many of the most 'lenient' states, you could still purchase ammo basically off the shelf, with maybe just a show of your id to prove that you are a resident of the state.

If you know a dealer, they could probably get some ammo for you for extra money, so it wouldn't make sense to try to rob one.

Do you think that's a good idea? There's no guarantee that a dealer shooting you would result in deth, let alone a quick one. Sorry, but this is a bad suggestion.

I think he was half-joking, but idk

I just would like to do it myself. The same way Legend did; through the left temple.
I really don't like commenting in these types of threads but feel that it's necessary to say for the sake of harm reduction, if you decide to go this route please research bullet types because that is a factor in whether you survive with horrific injuries or not. Again, I don't mean to give out advice or anything like that but this is an important factor in minimizing a bad outcome. I hope you're able to figure things out but understand that it's not my choice.
Unlike some to most people on here, I totally get what you mean. I am one of few people, like Legend, that can recognize that I still have had a pretty decent life. And sometimes quality matter more than quantity. I won't die unhappy, but rather see it as, living in another state without a physical body. I have done a fair amount of research, and I believe that I would need a 9mm, 158 grain bullet/cartridge. I have a picture of the box that we used at a shooting range, but the only difference was that it was 54-68 grain (somewhere around there I think). So it wouldn't have worked in that case scenario.

I honestly can't help myself from seeing feelings as chemicals in the brain, and the brain just being another vital organ.

However, I try to encourage others not to go this far either because I know that they find it hard to see it this way.

I don't know if this makes any sense or not lol. I've got a migraine and it's a little late. I have fallen asleep quite early the past few days so it feels later than it usually does at this time.

Not recommending anything here, but... If you're absolutely sure you want to use firearm as method, most handguns are not recommended if bigger guns like SG / rifle are obtainable. FMJ ammunition is particularly not recommended if it's possible to obtain HPs or SG/rifle cartridges. These bullets generally do the least amount of damage from all ammo options, and often pass straight through something while leaving only a relatively narrow wound track. Consider a secondary exit method (like SN) if only a handgun with FMJ is available.

Idk some of those acronyms but all I do know is my friend did it, my dad's friend did it, and so can I.

I'm all for choice, but with a 9 yr old brother you sound so young. Are you at least 18?

I didn't realize that getting ammo was difficult. I just walk into Scheel's or Sportsman's Outpost and buy 9mm hollow points. I guess it depends on what state you live in. I live in a VERY gun-liberal state. There are also websites as well. They don't require you to go through an FFL. Again, that could be dependent on which state you live in. Good luck.
And, YES, a 9mm is more than sufficient. But, someone posed a good question. How old are you?

Probably at least 15. Age shouldn't matter, because everyone should have the right to die on their own terms.

Eh idk man I tried to when I was 16 idk if I would recommend it unless you have experienced life after high school not dying you can't you deff could if you really know that's what you want. Life got a lil better after I graduated and I still have moments where I contemplate it but idk man I'm just rambling at this point
