I always get too....i don't know...not really too scared but...
I often just sat on my bed with a knife pointed at my stomach and it would have just needed a push, but I never succeeded in going through with it...
I don't know what to do, I don't know whats stopping me...

Survival instinct is extremely hard to overcome.

Ive had a plan ready for weeks now , its ready to go but just one tiny thing at the back of my mind holds me back. Its very final!!

Dont beat yourself up, you are not the only one who cant do it , it's extremely hard

That is your survival instinct. Don't beat yourself up. :) You would need a great deal of willpower to go through with something like that... And there are easier ways to go. Have you considered any other methods?

The reality is that there are no easy answers to the question. I believe that going through with suicide is something that can be very difficult especially if the method is very painful and brutal, and I just think that you cannot force yourself to go through with suicide, only you know when it's the right time to leave this world. But I certainly understand feeling tired of being trapped here, it really should be easier for us to free ourselves from this awful world.

I don't think anyone here would try to CTB via stabbing their stomach. Too much extreme pain with major chance of surviving, you could even up with a permanent colostomy bag. Lots more painless and more chance of succeding

I don't think anyone here would try to CTB via stabbing their stomach. Too much extreme pain with major chance of surviving, you could even up with a permanent colostomy bag. Lots more painless and more chance of succeding
Yeah, I know that now, but back then I was too young and desperate enough to just do it with a knive

DON'T THINK ABOUT IT.
every human has a different gens,different observations , different experience and... these things are UNIQUE for every person.so your life patch made you to feel pain and uncomfortable and you decided to cbt because of these unique things .i mean your life patch brings you to this point. so:


1- just DON'T THINK ABOUT IT TOO MUCH . i mean don't focus on it so much(don't overthink).
find a method that you think is good for you but don't overthink .
don't look at it like it is most important decision ever entire your life. just look at it like other decisions of your life that you make .
pick a method and do your life like a normal .


2-when you collect information and find your method , LEAVE THIS WEBSITE .
this help you to understand that your problems and life patch and memories and ... still is with you and its make you to want ctb again.dont let this website become a entertaining tool for you.


3-understand that YOU ARE ALONE .we all are here for doing the same thing . we all use same words BUT we are not you. you lived your life . every person has different life patch.we cant help you with your life.at the end it is YOU that should find a way .

4-focus on what you can actually do. not venting and chatting (these things just consume time and dont do anything for you while you think you are doing something but your not .your just sitting and play a word game with people all over of world that have their own problems.). so DO something: go to the therapy and try medicine or find a way for cbt and do . idk but just DO .

5-you can use benzo for decrease SI and you can also use handcuff that can help you overcome it.
