So, i plan to CTB probably around January/February. I have Paracetamol and Meto already, just waiting a bit to purchase SN.

But how can i message them? I would like to leave with a text to be sent to them, but i don't know how to do it. I thought of scheduled e-mail but i'm not sure if they will actually see it. I receive a ton of e-mails daily and don't even get a notification of it, and there's a chance it will go straight to the spam folder ALSO.

Another thing is; i can't be 100% sure i will succeed on CTB, what if i fail and the e-mail get sent? I don't know if they'll call the police/ambulance or something like that to me. I'm not home alone so that may be a problem. Also i'm not sure how much time it will take to get someone to finally see me, as nobody here enters my room, and by that it would be better if i get someone to call an ambulance. But after all of that, my family would want to know WHO tf called the ambulance, and i don't want my friends to be in contact with my family after i CTB.

Any suggestions of how to do it?

scheduled email would be ur best bet, maybe say ur travelling and won't be able to text so if they want to hear from you they should check their spam mail and unblock [email protected] or whatever email address you use

and then schedule the email for a long time in the future; maybe two months? so if you fail you have time to get out of the psych ward and then delete the email.

You should be able to schedule a text message to them for the future. Set it to a few hours after the attempt, so if it fails you'll have time to cancel it. I plan on sending a scheduled text that links to my note about 8 hours after CTB.

How can i schedule a text? Links to a note? Are you going to schedule an e-mail with a link that leads to your note?

you assume the psych ward will just set you free immediately after you made a suicide attempt? they don't give a shit about your rights, they'll wave around the mental health act and say they're locking you up for YOUR sake. i'd rather be long dead and have my friends find out late, then have to deal with the messiness of them finding out i made an attempt and thinking it succeeded and then at the end having to go crawling back to them because it failed.

On my phone there's an option called "Schedule message" where I can set a time to schedule a text message for the future. It might look different for your phone but I'm sure most messaging apps will have this feature somewhere.

I plan to type up a note in Google Docs then just send a link to that via a text message, so I can use the same document for multiple recipients and change the contents without changing the text itself.

Not in the UK. They often let you out the day after your attempt! And I ain't kidding !
Buy, if you think two months is a reasonable time frame to send a suicide message to 'friends', without them noticing you're missing, then they're not friends and don't deserve any messages!

that's very fortunate, tbh. they treat you like a criminal in canada and the states..

as for the length, i would honestly preemptively tell them i was going on vacation or something

And what if the attempt is successful? Two months.... really ?

Is it really "fortunate" though? Those people need help and they're being discarded and treat like they don't matter !

Oh i see, i found this option aswell. But 3 things came into my mind; first is that my family will have access to my number afterwards. Will they have access to the mesages i've sent/received? And second being that they'll try to get to know the person i've messaged. Also they'll have access to my note and will read it, that's possibly the worst thing to happen.

Also i don't personally recommend using Google services to write that kind of text, there's plenty of cases that Google and/or Microsoft had access to people's files and even changed them. I would recommend that you write that somewhere else and then export it as a text file, put it on a zip file with a password or you could just use an encryption software on the text file itself, and then upload it to Google Drive. Send it with the password so the person will be able to unlock it and see, but Google won't.
