Pretty shitty, right? You could probably run away from everyone and everything you know, and there wouldn't be a difference. Maybe if you stopped breathing right now, no one would notice. No one would help you.

Then when you die, you'll go to hell and see your life played in front of you. You'll see your highest moments. Then you'll see your lowest ones. And you'll realize there's a lot more of those - that there's a lot more times you were crying than laughing. You'll realize how little value your life was. You'll look upwards, and look towards earth and see everyone you've ever known. You'll see how they've become successful. People once in the same shit hole as you, fixed up and earning riches. Having a loved one. Being genuinely happy. You'll see everyone you've ever known forget about you. Because you're just a story. A side character. An extra to their story.

You'll see your ex find a new guy, and she'll be happy. You'll see your most hated colleague start his own successful company. You'll see members of Sanctioned Suicide start their own charity for mental illnesses. You'll see everyone that meant something to you, become greater than you ever could - especially without you. Like you were holding them back the entire time.

You'll realize at this moment that you were truly alone. And because you have no one, you are no one.

My loneliness is pretty bad. I'm in my late 20s now and I'm seeing everyone move on in life becoming successful with a nice job, investments, romantic interest, buying a house. While my life turned out to be crappy, my quality of life has been crap since inception and I didn't choose it, I'm just glad I only have a few months left in this nightmare. My younger siblings are moving forward with love interest, they will have kids eventually and I'll be stuck a loser, not sociable, and working a crappy job. No thanks so I'm CTB in a few months. We didn't ask for any of this crap so I have a right to get out of it. I just want everyone to know they couldn't do anything to save me, and my misery was aligned with the universe I just can't wait for it to be over

I discovered this recently when just a single person remembered my birthday.

Family, friends, colleagues past and present, acquaintances, former patients; I used to struggle to find space to put the cards. But last time, only my mother remembered, and that's when I realised my lifelong fear has been realised, I am truly alone.

I don't feel so much lonely as in a lack of meaningful relationships, people are exhausting and I like to isolate myself. My loneliness resides deep inside my mind, I am trapped with my own thoughts. I see others around me living life and achieving things yet I feel so disconnected to them. There is an underlying feeling of dread in every waking moment.

I'm very alone but I don't feel lonely at all! (although it would be nice to have a girl for cuddling, netflix and chill)

I talk to lots of people here, who really understand the way I feel and I can understand them too.

Also, I see lots of people online every single day, such as my students so, no loneliness here.

I actually wanna be away from everyone, meditating in a mountain or something like that lol.

That feeling is very familiar to me as well. I can go through all the countless times I've tried to connect to others. I've even taken it a step further and tried to explain the disconnect for it to be denied by the other party.
