if i didnt want to be found for a certain amount of time (sn method), a hotel would be out of option because they need your identity card (?) ... so the best option would be woods ? what about renting an appartment? if my family realized that i had escaped to kms and they called police , if i rented an appartment, would they know it and find me?

What sort of fees would be incured at the hotel do you know for clean up etc?? Obviously depends on your exit strategy, but for N I imagine maybe they just replace the matress or so.

I never considered this aspect, probably should buy some adult diapers and lay some type of plastic down so u don't ruin the mattress. Lol! It would be embarrassing to be found in an adult diaper though.

Hotel... i need my body to do be discovered. I live alone in my apartment. If I CTB'ed in my apartment, it would be weeks for someone to discover my body....so sad is my life...

This is the exact reason i thought a hotel/ motel/ holiday inn would be best. And i don't want my cat to eat my face.

Hotel because I don't want to turn the house of my family into a traumatic place. And they be the one that find me dead in my room. I also don't want to die at home. I prefer a neutral place like a hotel room with a comfy bed, it's the perfect enviroment for me to leave.

Yes, I would also vote for a hotel. In a hotel u can be alone in your room and u don't have to worry about your relatives who might have a trauma after finding your body and sell their house just to get rid of the place where u died.

A hotel room is preferable, for me. It avoids associating an area with even worse memories while I can still warn the cleaners with appropriate signage. The only people who would have to pick me up would be used to transporting bodies. Zip me up and tote me off, to the morgue and then on to the furnace. The whole idea feels clean in a way that is hard to describe. Plus, the privacy matters to me.

I wouldn't do it to an Airbnb host. You'll probably decrease their property's value. Hotels are used to dealing with this.

Hey tour, yes I am in the US currently and I have used airbnb hosts. I have had mixed experiences to be honest, including having to rapidly exit one while the host went to the shops for my own safety (I kid you not).

I wouldn't consider an airbnb, not because of decreasing value but because they are normal people just trying to get some extra money, and some of the places are important to them (like I just stayed in a guest suite somewhere, where they have their friends over for Christmas etc, so it'd ruin that for them once someone had died there). I'd use a chain hotel run by a large corporation. I know the manager is a person who isn't probably as uncaring as the corporation would be, and I know the person who finds me is equally just a regular person who doesn't deserve it, but I need to do it somewhere and doing it outside just isn't relaxing for me!

First off, you can put your signage on the bathroom door rather than having to hang something in the middle of the room, from ... wherever. Second, it makes the cleanup quite a bit easier.

If you're very concerned with comfort during those last moments, and I couldn't blame you, you can get a mattress pad, a blanket, that sort of thing.

Will you ctb in a hotel, your apartment or house and why?

I'd prefer a hotel, but unfortunately I do not have the money =( I have no choice but to ctb in my room, and my father will find my body in a few days. Even if I did have the money for a hotel room...there is no telling whether or not I will chicken out and then the money is wasted. In my room, I can chicken out day after day before finally getting the nerve to drink the SN.

I will most likely ctb in my house. I will be home alone this weekend and plan to do it on Sunday (so my pets still get fed and taken care of). I will not be found in time. My method will cause brain death in less than 10 minutes (inert gas asphyxia). I will have at least two hours to do it. That's plenty of time. I'm also familiar with my house. I don't have to pay extra money to stay in a hotel (which can thus go to my family). And if I end up backing out of it, I won't have wasted money on a hotel room. I also like the idea of doing this on my bed. It will be comfortable as I drift into eternal sleep.
