Hotel location

Should I strategize on the distance of the hotel I plan to ctb in?
I'm thinking of doing it pretty close to home, but I also plan to send out notes to my loved ones around night time without delay. Maybe a bad idea, do you think they might try to look for me at the hotel nearby?
Perhaps I should just get a hotel that's further out instead, is this a valid concern or am I thinking too much?

Maybe you could schedule sending the note after you plan to CTB.

Like you want to place a physical note? I mean you could send them by mail, but that might take to long. If they find the notes they will probably look for you. That could be a problem, or not. There are so many variables. Planing CTB is so hard :(

Hmm Imo You should look for a hotel beneath ground...

Ok but more seriously a hotel further away so that they won't find you too soon if that's what you want. Once they realise that you're missing, they tend to search places where you're usually at and the surroundings of it, so a hotel close to home may not be ideal unless you really can't travel

I'm planning on going to a hotel that's 20 minutes away by train. I don't want to have to travel too far, but I don't want to be in my city so I decided to go to the closest place to me that I know and have been to before. I think it will be far enough for me. I'm going to leave my notes (which are written on paper) in the room with my ID and just hope that the they will be given to my loved ones.

I'm planing to go to a motel in my city but il be telling family/friend I'm going to a nearby town to visit a friend for afew nights so it shouldn't raise concern till the third day and even if they realise sooner they will most likely still think I'm in seid nearby town not here.
But going further away would probably be good if you don't have a cover story.

As for notes I'm planning to leave written ones to be found later but am considering using scheduled txt aswell which could be a option for you.

Well, your loved ones are probably gonna try to stop you. Reality is, this is going to cause chaos. I would write the notes physically and leave them on your person to be found. Theres nothing you're going to write in those letters that will make the situation any better. The question is do you want to get caught or not.
