Hotel during Covid

Anyone in UK had any luck finding a hotel still open?

I found a couple nearby to me but was unable to make a booking until July - I used a popular booking website

Im able to make bookings, but then get an email saying to cancel unless im an NHS key worker.

Oh boo that sucks... not even for a bit further in future?

The hotel I have been looking at is in the City of London, but not taking bookings, I worked in the City for over 30 years so I know the area really well and it's close to all the amenities.

Not long now until they all reopen but I will feel a bit guilty ctb so soon after reopening but I will leave them a bit tip and I will arrange for a note to be delivered to the front reception two hours before checkout time, so no one stumbles in accidentally and becomes traumatised..
