I have all day by myself today so no one should be concerned if I'm out for a while.

I really hope that I can find a decent tree to do full suspension from, cause if I don't there's no telling when I'll get another opportunity again.

Once I find my tree I'm gonna go and have a last meal, (If I even have appetite) drink some alcohol and just get it over with.. Wish me luck.

Okay so I think I found a tree I can easily climb



and was thinking about tying the rope right at that fork area, I inspected the tree and from what I can see, I'm not expert obviously, but it looks healthy, like it would probably hold 160lbs. I'd have to wait until late at night though cause it's literally right off of a walking trail.

Does anyone else who knows anything about hanging have any input?

Are you sure no one will spot you until you cannot be saved? It seems to be rather out in the open.
You can weight test it, but seems sturdy enough from that picture. The real concern is its location.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll probably go a bit deeper into the woods when I go back tonight. Luckily there seems to be a decent amount of trees about that size or bigger in that area, I just really liked this one because it looked pretty easy to climb and would support all my weight.

You're right it kinda seems like a stupid idea, but they close the park at night and open it back up in the morning and I just figured the person who opens the park would find me instead of someone on the trail.

I'll try deeper into the woods then.
