Homemade test for SN?

I've given up trying to buy testing kits here in my country. There are just too many barriers to overcome. The ones I've seen will only sell to companies and labs. Is there a way to test the purity and genuineness of the SN I have on my own? Some kind of DIY kit and process maybe?

India is the easiest country to get anything, I wish I was in India everything is easy to acquire in India

If you already have sn how do you not know the purity ? ... no labels? You bought something blindly?
And as it was posted you don't need a scientific lab test kit.... aqua strip test... ??

You can't believe labels or the company when it comes to sodium nitrite because it lose its potent as time goes

It is better to test by ourselves just to make sure

get some aquarium test strips from amazon, they include tests for NaO2 and NaO3
for NaO2 it's normal that you'll also get a result for NaO3

The way your OP sounded is like you already bought and and needed it tested.

If you're buying from a sketchy source then of course aqua strip or blood test. Which have both been mentioned on many threads other than this one.

No one's being pathetic it was simply saying vizzy gave good links.
Don't name call and next time use the search function. To question thats already been answered 100s of times.

Yes you can. If it's from a legitimate place.

It's the beta version of a website after searching through 18 others that put up roadblocks so yes it looks legit but I can't confirm.

If you understood how things in my country worked these are easy to fake and extremely hard to confirm hence the need for a test.

Then don't accuse me of doing things "blindly". It took a long time to find what I was looking for from a place that wouldn't ask for multiple layers of verification. My decision to buy SN wasn't made lightly either
