• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Was going to send you a message, but I see that it is not an option because I wonder what state you live in, as I assume it is in the U.S. I live in the Midwest.

If you live in the U.S. and I so dislike saying this, BUT some of it comes down to if you live in a red or blue state. Red (conservative), blue (liberal) state.

Also, WELCOME! to SaSu and so darn happy to have you as a new friend.

Lots of hugs and love and, again, WELCOME!

East Coast. Blue.

Thanks! I've been a long time lurker.

Yeah I guess I haven't unlocked my message feature yet.

Plz don't quote this cause I'm gonna delete that location part for anonymity.

Never ever a problem, as we are ALL family here.

If it was me, I would look into 1) I would get into contact with you states human services department. Also, if the medical facility where you were at is nonprofit, then sometimes they either have programs to help OR will "write" part of the bill off.

I live in a blue state, and we have state programs, if one is under a certain threshold on net worth to help. (Medial Assistance programs). I do not know, in my state how much equity one can have to qualify but if it was me, I would be in contact with our state human services department Monday morning.

The old saying: nothing ventured, nothing gained.
